New clients fill in an enrollment form about their goals and challenges, choose a session package and are then matched with a coach. Beyond BookSmart says all of its 200+ coaches hold a master's degree, an equivalent or higher, and that it keeps searching if a family is not happy with the first match.
Coaching is online only, by video call on Zoom or Google Meet. Most clients meet weekly for 45 minutes, but sessions of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes can be booked on any day, weekends included. Each session starts with a check-in on last week's goals, works through strategies drawn from a library of over 375 tools, and ends with a plan for the week ahead and a written progress update.

Once a package runs out, further sessions are billed in arrears at the same rate. Beyond BookSmart does not take insurance, because Executive Function coaching has no diagnosis or service code; it suggests asking an FSA/HSA or 529 plan provider whether coaching qualifies.
